Michael L Ferreter - Board of Supervisor

* Graduated from Minnesota State University, 1974

* Taught Elementary Physical Education and Coached in Independence Schools for 30 years

* Currently in his first term as a Board of Supervisors member, first elected in November 2006

Ellen Gaffney - Board of Supervisor

* Ellen Gaffney was born in Waterloo, but lived nearly all of her life in the Buchanan County towns of Littleton, Lamont, Winthrop and Hazleton.

* She graduated from the Lamont High School, and Personnel Training School in Omaha, Nebraska.

* Ellen has served on the Board of Supervisors for 20 years and currently resides in rural Hazleton.

* She has a farm background and financial experience which she feels is very helpful in her job.

* She is elected to serve the residents of Buchanan County and feels she has always based her decisions on what is best for the majority of the people.

Ralph J. Kremer - Board of Supervisor

• I graduated from Winthrop High School, and served two years in the U.S. Army.

• Have been actively engaged in farming for the past 47 years.

• Have a Real Estate Sales license, and have operated my own Certified Real Estate Appraisal Business for the past 25 years.

• Currently serving my 26th year on the Buchanan County Board of Supervisors.
